WIMA/Monarch House Yearly Recap
As Wisconsin Milkweed Alliance concludes another fiscal year, I am filled with gratitude for each and every one of you. Despite all the unprecedented challenges this year has brought about, WIMA and Monarch House were able to continue supporting our community in many creative ways.
While Monarch House was closed from March to July due to concerns arising from COVID, our dedicated peer supporters offered 24/7 warm line support and two different forms of virtual support. We continued hosting free community events, offering opportunities for education and social connection. Monarch House reopened its door in August and is welcoming guests while taking appropriate precautions. None of this would have been possible without your ongoing support.
Attached please find our Annual Board Report and our very first issue of the WIMA Quarterly Newsletter to learn more about all the exciting things WIMA worked on in the past year! Also, please follow our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/MonarchHousePeerRunRespite/ for program updates and information about community events. Finally, if you are interested in supporting Monarch House to provide peer support and education to our community, please visit our donation page at https://givebutter.com/MonarchHouse.
With deep gratitude and love,
