Conflict Resolution and Grievance Policies

WIMA welcomes and encourages guests, peer supporters, and volunteers to share concerns, conflicts, or grievances at any time, both verbally or written down.

1. Guests, peer supporters, and volunteers are encouraged to first approach the other individual one-on-one with respect, mutuality, and intentional communication to resolve the conflict.

2. If a one-on-one conversation is not possible to resolve the conflict, a 3rd person (such as a peer supporter) may be present to help facilitate the interaction.

3. A grievance may be submitted in writing to the Program Director or Executive Director, placed in the suggestion box located at Kaleidoscope Center, or submitted online through our website at https://www.milkweedalliance.org/directors to a member of our Leadership Team. If the grievance is with the Executive Director, a member of the Board of Directors may be contacted instead.
